I also visited your farm on June 30 with the senior group and I totally agree with Linda, the trip was refreshing, interesting, fun, and what great kids! They have done a great job in their special areas. The food was really great also - my first time eating curds - and they were great, along with all the other homemade goodies. Also loved the jammin group that came to entertain with their guitars, hammered and mountain dulcimer, fiddle, and mandolin - oh yeah, and the jaw harp! It was a very fun, relaxing day! Thanks again!

I visited your wonderful family farm Wed. June 30th and had a really fun day. Your family is just a breath of fresh air to experience. I will recommend the visit to as many people as I can. I especially loved talking to your children, they were so knowledgable about the animals and the farmworkings. Tom and Linda, you should really be proud of your children and of what you instilled in them. I am going to be sending you a dvd of all of the pictures I took while visiting that day.

We visited the farm over the weekend.It was great! My boys had a great time on the ATV and with playing games.My girls had a great time getting the eggs and the donkey ride.But the best part was seeing my childs face when they seen the cow being milked!!! The homemade food was very good! It was wonderful Thank You! We will be back next year.

We stayed at the cottage just after Christmas and had a wonderful stay. The family is incredibly warm and giving and have a wonderful respect for everything on the farm, from the animals to the land, to the guests who are visiting. They took the time to show our daughter everything they could with the animals and let her "help" with the chores. We know we slowed down the process quite a bit, but our daughter call the visit the best part of her Christmas weekend. We will definitely be back... especially for the granola and lasagna!

I teach at the Vet Tech Institute of Pittsburgh and as part of our instruction we take the students to The Bookamer Family Farm. As a veterinarian I enjoy seeing the animals raised in the family farm environment and used for the purpose that they are meant for. It is a wonderful site to visit for students that have never been out to a real farm. The animals are well taken care of and the property is beautiful. All the the students always write positive comments about their visit.

I booked the cottage for my parents visiting for the weekend.We got First class service. We joined them at the cottage for a home cooked farm dinner.(Including fresh from the oven bread,& hot apple pie)Breakfast was farm fresh eggs & sausage( with more homemade bread) fresh milk,and homemade yogurt and granola.The cottage had everything we needed.It was a beautiful fall day and the views from the cottage were great I give this place 5 stars and 2 thumbs up!
