Fun Farm Activities
At the Bookamer Family Farm, we are experienced in designing special tours to meet the needs of a wide range of groups. We welcome visits from groups of all sizes and people of all ages. Please contact the farm and we’ll work with you to develop an interesting, educational, and fun Farm Tour Experience for you!
Our family is very pleased knowing that we can offer our special friends with special needs a look at the farm as well. Our barn is wheelchair accessible and can provide the on looker with the ability to touch the animals. We also provide specialized demonstrations and tours specially designed to give one a hands– on learning experience. Feel free to call and discuss your situation with us and let us work with you to develop a tour to be remembered.
Our tour programs go beyond the traditional farm tours for children. We offer educational tours on a large variety of naturalist and educational subjects. Different tours are offered during the year – each one specially designed and adapted for various age groups and abilities. Pre and post tour teaching information can be provided.
The subject matter of our tours and demonstrations can be tailored to fit the specific area that you wish to cover. It can be majoring in many and almost any area of our circle farm. They include fiber, diary, meat production, ecologically friendly living, gardening, composting, sawmilling, woodlands, pond, orchard, self reflection, spiritual, family gathering, home schooling and group meetings.
